The Palmetto Guardian effort is a successful effort by virtue of having won the "Digital Newsletter Award, Sandlapper Catagory" at the 2009 SC Division Convention, Sons of Confederate Veterans.That having been said, it has been a fragmented effort. Due to life's little adventures, there were gaps in the Palmetto Guardian's publication, with publication coming to a stop after February of 2009.The good news is the Palmetto Guardian has returned with the July 2011 issue!
